Stylomine-Red Mottled Hard Rubber 303 MASTEDON Fountain Pen-Ca. 1920s. This is one of the rarest of the French Pens. I only know of 5 others to exist in Red Mottled. There are no cracks or chips in the cap or the barrel. The trim shows no wear. The mottled hard rubber is truly incredible. It has a flexible, broad Stylomine nib which writes smoothly. This is an extremly large pen. It is 9/16" wide at the barrel and 11/16 at the cap. It is 5 1/2" long when closed. The pen is in working order. The nib and feed have been cleaned and a new sac has been installed.
